And the Rugby Club Toulonnais understood this well by committing to the societal and environmental issues of its territory. That’s what we call being a true thought leader!
And to get their message across, they have three watchwords: integration, solidarity, and environmental protection.
So that their commitment does not remain a dead letter, the club created the Rugby Heart Toulonnais Foundation.
They understood that rugby is not just about scrums and tests, it is also about values. Values like respect, solidarity, and living together.

The RCT Foundation is here to promote these values loud and clear, and we can say that they do it well!
On this occasion, the Flycup teams came to visit those of the RCT to find out more about the integration of our products into their CSR approach .

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO BACK YOUR VEOLIA PARTNER TO FLYCUP?
“It’s completely natural, it’s because Veolia is our environmental partner. That is to say the partner who supports us on all subjects relating to sustainable, social and societal development.
He is the foundation's biggest patron and what's more, they support us in these efforts. So it was a logical choice.”

“The feedback from customers has been very positive, they are very happy and think it’s super ingenious, it’s very nice. They really like carrying their glass with the food and having everything in one hand. They hope to see him again in the next match!”
CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT THE IMPACT FLYCUP HAS HAD ON YOUR BUVETTE SALES?
“In terms of sales, this was very positive for us, and brought in additional budget for us. This can increase the RCT and the budget of the refreshment bars.”

FLYCUP PACKAGING HAS BEEN INTEGRATED INTO YOUR CATERING OFFER, CAN YOU EXPLAIN HOW?
“They simply fit into our catering offer around two main axes: firstly, they provide additional comfort to our supporters.
We work a lot on the fan experience and the way we will receive them, including at the refreshment bar.
From a product point of view itself, we will want to work on a coupled offer with menu integration and thus be able to potentially increase our sales and also make it possible to bring financial gain to our customers since the coupled offer is interesting for them."
HOW IS THIS IMPLEMENTED INTO YOUR CLASSIC BUVETTE PREPARATION PROCESS?
“The products are assembled before the service, a small stock is prepared in advance, which allows our refreshment managers to prepare the product directly in the support. Example menu: part burger, part fries and drink in the middle.
We prepare all of this with just one drinks maker, we serve on the counter and we also save time from this point of view.”
CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT THE RESULTS SINCE IMPLEMENTING FLYCUP?
“We can talk about results on two axes. First on comfort for spectators. The feedback is quite good. This allows you to have your hands free on certain products and continue to navigate the stadium simply.
Then, for economic results, the products will make it possible to sell more menus and also be able to generate greater demand.”
“Another point that we don't necessarily think about when working with Flycup products, I think of one product in particular, the Flycup Drink .
It allows us, a rather unexpected result, to reduce queues because a single person can order several beers at the same time, without having to carry them and be inconvenienced with that. This is another positive point, which we had not necessarily measured upstream.”
DO FLYCUPS GIVE YOU ADDITIONAL IDEAS IN YOUR OVERALL ETF STRATEGY?
“The arrival of Flycup products at the Mayol stadium with the RCT also allows us to reflect and anticipate the potential development of our spectator service, potentially a service instead and why not Click and Collect.
In any case, the supports allow us to project ourselves a little on this and work on the service.”
Well, we can say that Flycup landed in the RCT net with flying colors! Fans are delighted with this innovation which allows them to enjoy their food and drink without cluttering their hands. And the icing on the cake (or rather on the burger), the Flycups helped reinforce the RCT's eco-responsible commitment by using recyclable packaging.
In addition to that, sales at the refreshment bar have taken off thanks to the catering offer coupled with the Flycups.
