Hope or despair for festival-goers this summer? A clear improvement has appeared thanks to the test concert in Barcelona which took place in January and brought together more than 450 people. Result, no contamination and delighted festival-goers!
The Minister of Culture Roselyne Bachelot will present, on February 15, an emergency plan to avoid the closure of festivals this summer.
In a press release published on January 29, the minister announced that she had spoken with representatives of French festivals ( Les Eurockéennes , The Francofolies , The Colmar Wine Fair Festival , Les Vieilles Charrues …) and gave them a new meeting on February 15. She will provide answers to the questions raised and propose an emergency plan including the measures to follow so that the festivals take place this summer.
At the same time, the PRODISS (National Union of Musical and Variety Shows) in collaboration with the AP-HP and the City of Paris are working on the organization of a test concert of 1000 people, masked, standing and not distanced. It will make it possible to put the new directives announced into practice (Mandatory tests at entry? No catering point?) and to see the impact, hoping that it will be positive.
The minister was also optimistic about the reopening of festivals this summer, expressing on RTL: “We are going to go to festivals this summer, we have time.”
This would allow a possible reopening and the arrival of Flycup packaging at your favorite festivals to improve your consumption experience.
