A SUMMER OPERATION BETWEEN FLYCUP AND COCA-COLA
Coca-Cola will offer its partners new food packaging to respond to new, more nomadic consumption trends: this is the Flycup.
Coca-Cola's desire is to be present in different moments of sharing and consumption, particularly among young people. It is true that today, the classic pattern of 3 meals, at the table at set times is a thing of the past. More urban lifestyles, new takeaway and delivery services, and digitalization have changed our consumption patterns. From now on, meals are shorter, more fragmented during the day and more nomadic.
Thus, to respond to these new trends and reach young audiences; Coca-Cola has decided to distribute Flycups to more than 2,000 takeaway points throughout the summer. Nothing more than 100,000 Flycups will be offered throughout France!
FLYCUP, A NEW COCA-COLA MOBILE COMMUNICATION TOOL
The importance for a brand is to be visible and to be seen by its potential customers, that is the crux of the matter. This is how companies try to innovate in the way they speak to their targets by adopting their language and using differentiating communication tools. Flycup clearly plays this role because it is a new, more mobile and closer way of communicating.
Indeed, the Coca-Cola brand is directly present in the hands of these targets (see photo). In addition, communication is mobile because it follows the consumer from the start to the end of their experience.
A FULL-FULL DIGITAL ACTIVATION
The pandemic crisis we are experiencing has transformed the way we exchange. Communication is less physical and much more digital but it remains no less direct. The emergence of QR Codes as in restaurants, for example, shows us this. Coca-Cola has therefore decided to add a QR Code to the Flycups.
This QR Code is to be flashed and allows you to go to a page dedicated to a game linked to the Coca-Cola animation. Many prizes to be won ! The interest for Coca-Cola is clearly to continue the experience beyond the moment of consumption, which is made possible by the implementation of this digital activation .
